I love beets; I could just serve them up as an appetizer. If you like this idea............you are invited to my Cajun any thing goes with beets Party.
Ingredients
12 small beets cooked and cut in slices, cubes or fancy
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp butter
Directions
Mix sugar and cornstarch in a medium pot. Add vinegar and water and boil 5 mintes. Add beets to hot sauce and let stand for at least 30 minutes. Just before serving bring to a boiling point and add butter.
