Back in 1990, Hormel advertised this glaze recipe that works really well when you have no packaged glaze for your ham. Great for your Thanksgiving, Christmas or holiday cooking.
Ingredients
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium (3 quart)saucepan. Heat slowly until smooth beating with a wire whisk or rotary beater.
Thirty minutes before your ham is done, remove from the oven. Spoon 1/2 of the glaze on the ham surface. Serve the remaining glaze with the ham.
