How can anyone forget these cookies? You do forget about them in the oven for a day, but once you eat them they will always be your favorite forgotten cookie! |

| Ingredients |
| 2 egg whites |
1 pinch salt |
| 1 cup pecans, chopped |
1/2 tsp cream of tartar |
| 3/4 cup sugar |
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips |

| | | Directions | Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat egg whites, tartar, and salt at high speed until stiff.
Gradually add sugar while beating. Using a spatula, fold
(do not stir ) in pecans and chocolate chips. Cover cookie sheet
with wax paper and drop cookies on with a teaspoon. Place in oven
and turn oven off. Leave cookies in ovenight or for at least
four hours. DO NOT open oven door. Makes about 2 dozen cookies |
