Most Cajuns like their food spicy and hot but blended with lots of flavor. Some just like the flavors. This cornbread can give you either of the tastes. You get to pick. |

| Ingredients |
| 1 box Jiffy Cornbread |
1 can cream corn |
| 1 pound cheddar cheese |
1 medium onion chopped fine |
| 1 medium bell pepper chopped fine |
1 tbsp garlic powder |
| 1 tsp salt |
1 tsp baking powder |
| black pepper totaste |
3 jalapeno peppers chopped fine |
| 1 pound ground meat preferably lean |

| | | Directions | In a glass bowl, mix, the ground meat, corn, onion, bell pepper, garlic salt, salt, baking powder and black pepper. Place in a greased baking dish.
Top with the peppers, cornbread mix(per box instructions) and lastly the cheese. Cook for 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
