If you are like me, you can't get enough egg nog during the holiday season. Here is another way to sneak egg nog in.
Ingredients
2 cups prepared egg nog
1 egg slightly beaten
1/2 tsp cinnamon
6 croissants or bread of choice
3 tbsp butter
Directions
In a shallow bowl, mix the eggnog and cinnamon thoroughly. If using croissants slice lengthwise.
On a griddle or skillet melt one tablespoon butter, meanwhile dipping the bread in the batter and coating all sides. Place on the griddle and cook until golden brown about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Repeat for the rest of the bread.
Serve immediately with a syrup of your choice. Optional: You could also sprinkle with powdered sugar.
