| Ingredients |
| 2 sticks butter |
1/2 cup Crisco |
| 3 cups sugar |
3 cups flour, sifted before measuring |
| 1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
| 1 cup milk |
2 tsp vanilla |
| 5 eggs |
1/2 cup cocoa |
| 1 angel cake or Bundt cake pan |

| | | Directions | Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt. Add to the creamed mixture with the milk and vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured pan and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. This cake is good served plain, or iced with a Chocolate Fudge Icing. |
