This recipe actually serves 12-16 depending on how much you are willing to share! This cake is SO moist and yummy! If you get people past the fact that it has mayo in it you won't have any left overs. In the word of one of my students "It's so good it makes you want to slap yo' mama!". Enjoy!!!
Editor Note: The mayonnaise is replacing the oil normally used in most cake recipes with less the fat.

| Ingredients |
| Cake |
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
| 2 cups all purpose flour |
1 cup sugar |
| 4 tbsp cocoa powder |
1 1/2 tsp baking soda |
| 1 1/2 tsp baking powder |
1 cup mayo |
| 1 cup water or milk |
2 tsp vanilla |
| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
Glaze |
| 1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cocoa powder |
| 1 stick butter |
1/4 cup milk |
|
| | | Directions | Cake:
In a large bowl first, mix all of the dry ingredients together. Then add the mayo, water or milk, and vanilla and mix well. Grease a 9x13 pan. Pour the batter in the pan and even it out. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. To check the cake to see if it is done, take a fork and poke it in the middle of the cake if it comes out clean the cake is done! Take the cake out of the oven and poke hole in the cake.
(Start the glaze after the cake is finished cooking.)
Glaze:
In a small to medium sauce pan, melt the stick of butter on a medium heat. While the butter is melting mix the sugar and coco powder together. When the butter is melted, add the milk and the sugar and coco mixture. Stir to make sure everything is combined. On a medium heat bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Bring it to a rolling boil and time it for one minute. Then pour the glaze over the cake. Let the glaze ooooz into the cake! Serve the cake warm with a LARGE glass of ice cold milk!!!!
