Grandma was right. Chicken soup does make you feel better. Although there’s no cure for a cold – yet – most doctors agree with what grandmothers and mothers have been telling us for generations – old fashioned chicken soup, which could also be known as Cajun penicillin, has therapeutic benefits. It’s spirit-lifting, cold-soothing natural medicine, straight from the kitchen. Chicken soup - Good for the soul! Also great for the Bird Flu season or anytime comfort food is needed.

Ingredients
4 chicken breast 1 package spaghetti 16 oz
2 medium Irish potatoes 1 tsp red pepper
1 tsp Zatarain's® Season All 1 tsp garlic powder

Directions
Debone the chicken breasts and cut into 1/4-1/2 inch size.

Diced the potatoes the same size and set aside.

To start your stock, add the water in a 6 quart stock pot and boil the chicken bones for 15 to 30 minutes. Remove bones and lower the heat to simmer.

Add the chicken, spaghetti, potatoes, and season to taste. Simmer until chicken, and spaghetti are done. Makes 6 servings.
Can be served with regular crackers or Ritz® crackers
