| Ingredients |
| 5 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 1/4 cup sugar |
| 1/2 tsp salt |
6 cups milk, scalded |
| 4 cups heavy cream |
2 tbsp vanilla |
| 4 jars cherries with juice |

| | | Directions | Combine eggs, sugar and salt in a sauce pan.
Pour hot milk over egg mixture.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture coats
a spoon.
Chill in the refrigerator until cool.
Add cherries, heavy cream and vanilla.
Pour mixture into an ice cream freezer and
follow instructions on the freezer. |
