My mother-in-law always made this pie for holidays. It didn't last long. It's delicious.
Ingredients
1 - 9 inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 tbsp flour (rounded)
3 eggs beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Have butter soft at room temperature. Add sugar. Cream together well. Add flour to butter/sugar mixture, cut in and blend well. Add eggs. Beat well. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees until knife inserted into center of pie comes out clean. Approximately 50-60 minutes.
