MawMaw was invited to a send off party for one of her friends who had come in from Pittsburgh. The hostess Elaine, invited her good friend Brenda to this party cuz she knew how to fry shrimp. Yes Brenda knows this..... I will agree these fried shrimp are as good and tasty as any restaurant fried shrimp. Lookout - my Fry Daddy is coming out!

Ingredients
2 pounds peeled shrimp red pepper
salt beer of choice
flour 1 egg
oil for frying

Directions
Sprinkle peeled shrimp with red pepper and salt. Shrimp lends itself well to the taste of red pepper. Place shrimp in a bowl and pour enough beer just to cover the shrimp. Break an egg into the mixture and add enough flour to the mixture to make a batter.
For best results soak overnight in the refrigerator; although shrimp could be fried after an hour or two of soaking. When ready to fry, add flour in a Ziplock bag, add shrimp without crowding and shake to coat the shrimp with the flour. Place shrimp in heated oil and cook just until they are a light golden brown and shrimp start to float in the oil.
