How fun it is to make your own Bar-B-Que Sauce knowing there are hundreds of brands on your grocers shelf. The most popular flavors of barbecue sauce are hickory, followed by mesquite, honey, and then spicy-hot.
 
Ingredients
4 garlic cloves minced 2 cups chopped onions
1/2 cup butter or margarine 2 cups catsup/ketchup
2 cups water 1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp salt
1 tsp cayenne 4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
fresh chopped jalapeno (optional)  
 
Directions
Cook garlic and onion in the butter until tender but not brown. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with grilled hamburgers and frankfurters. If you like hot, increase cayenne to one teaspoon and/or add two fresh chopped jalapeno.
