Croutons that accompany a dip very well.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Garlic powder to taste

Directions

Step 1

Slice a long baguette 1/4 inch thick. Use a bread knife or serrated knife for easier cutting. A long baquette makes about 40 to 50 pieces.

Step 2

Combine butter and garlic powder to taste. Spread the mixture over the pieces with a pastry brush and set on a cookie sheet or wire rack.

Step 3

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until heated throughout. If using a cookie sheet, turn over halfway thru cooking. Use for spinach, shrimp or any other thick dip.
