Get fo' or t'ree of y'all's people together; maybe your nonc or your parraine and Granmere' and f'sho your cher ami, especially if y'all make double or quadruple batches. Good company around the make-table makes the time go fast and the food taste better. This recipe quantity allows for freezing.

Cajun Oyster CrackersRonnie & Amy Comier (Maw Maw's Dear Friends)
Maw Maw loves this guy and his wife. You call him for a party and he is there. Not only that he treats the party invitees! The last dinner party we had...Ronnie & Amy brought these oysters crackers and these were so good! A taste very similar to the Cajun Firecrackers. Great for tailgating, parties, friends getting together and telling stores and just getting together giving hugs...cause that's what friends do!
Bert's Freezo ChiliTommy Guidry to remember Bert's Freezo
This is a hand me down of Bert's Freezo famous Chili recipe. The drive-in Bert's Freezo which was located in Kaplan,LA had the best Chili dogs and Chili Frito Pie ever. The recipe was given to Tommy originally from Mr. Campbell's (late cook at the American Legion) son. He said Bert (Herman Bertrand) gave it to his dad.

Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life. MawMaw connected with one of her brother-in-laws through Facebook and he sent her this recipe. If you think this guy can hunt and he can; you should see his grandson, Zachery, hunt and kill deer; the grandson is only 7.
Spinach BreadAlberta "Bert" LeBlanc
